Ajoupa Interiors works with a professional fitter who can mount these custom-made headboards to the wall or attach them to your existing bed frame, ensuring seamless installation. Alternatively, Ajoupa Interiors can provide instructions for DIY installation if preferred.

Our Upholstery Process
Your free personal consultation begins with a phone call to discuss your needs. We will discuss the pieces you wish to upholster, how it will be used, explore your personal style, and any colours or fabrics of interest to you. This will inform the design options I propose during the subsequent in-home consultation.
A site visit is arranged, where I visit your home in person to show you a range of fabrics and finishing trims, selected based on our initial call. For a headboard, we will discuss its shape, how it will be mounted, and I take measurements for it's make up.
Once you’ve decided on your items, a detailed quote will be provided for your approval. It outlines the cost of each item for the design choices and is valid for 60 days. Once approved, a 50% deposit is required to get work started. Depending on the size of your furniture piece(s), a separate collection date will be agreed upon.
The time needed to make your bespoke soft furnishings depends on the nature of the item(s). For example, your order may include made-to-order fabrics that have a lead time. In general, it takes six weeks from receipt of your chosen fabric to complete your bespoke headboard or upholstery. This may be less for some projects. We will discuss the timing for your requirements and an indicative lead time during the quotation stage.
Nearing completion of your furnishings, we will agree a date for delivery and installation of your item(s).
